Charles A. McCullough is one of the team’s leading consultants in the fields of real estate appraisal and business valuation.  He has qualified as an expert witness in providing testimony before numerous courts, commissions, and quasi-judiciary bodies.  He has lectured at the professional and collegiate levels on a variety of subjects including Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Principles and Procedures of Real Estate Appraisal, and other appraisal courses.  Mr. McCullough served as a Deputy Tax Assessor for 14 years.

He is an MAI member of the Appraisal Institute, a  Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey, and an adjunct professor of tax and accounting.  He is also a Certified Distance Education Instructor.

 

EDUCATION:

Mr. McCullough earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Rutgers University.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from Rowan University.  Mr. McCullough has received extensive training in the field of real estate appraisal from the Appraisal Institute and the Society of Real Estate Appraisers.  He has also received professional education in the disciplines of business valuation and machinery and equipment valuation from the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:

Mr. McCullough is a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), an Accredited Senior Appraiser (Real Estate-Urban) with the American Society of Appraisers (A.S.A.), is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (SCGREA) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is a New Jersey Certified Tax Assessor (CTA).  He is also certified by the Appraisal Foundation as an instructor for Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and by the State of New Jersey as a real estate appraisal instructor.  Mr. McCullough is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is on the approved appraiser list for a number of government agencies including the New Jersey Green Acres Program, State Agricultural Development Committee, and the Department of Transportation.  Mr. McCullough is a past Director of the South Jersey Chapter of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers.

CIVIC/NON-PROFIT ACTIVITIES:

Mr. McCullough is a current member and past President of the Moorestown Rotary Club and former treasurer of Rotary District 7500.  He is a past chairman of the Moorestown Township Zoning Board, the Berlin Borough Zoning Board, and the Berlin Borough Planning Board Site Plan Review Committee.  Mr. McCullough is also a former president of the Association of Commercial, Industrial and Investment Brokers of South Jersey, the South Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, and The Rutgers Club of Greater Philadelphia.
